Kinetics of Metabolic Cofactors in NAFLD

Purpose

Measure the kinetics in blood of pivotal metabolic cofactors, serine, L-carnitine, N-acetylcystein and nicotinamide riboside after single and simultaneous dietary supplementation

Study Design

Single group assignment, open label

Dose

1g NR, 3g L-carnitine, 20g serine, 5g N-acetylcystein, first as single compounds then combined on 5th day

Length of Intervention

Single doses of single compound (one day per compound) for 4 days, 1 day of single dose of all compounds
